The Android version of Ygopro has finally been released. The app is available for free from Google Play.

Ygopro for Android beta begins!

 

The closed beta test for Ygopro Android has finally been "special summoned"! During the closed beta test, a range of ygopro members will be invited to try the Android app and let us know what they think. All participants are welcome to share screenshots and videos sharing your experiences with the game, but please don't redistribute the apk. The game is still in development, and what you see and play in the beta test isn’t necessarily representative of what to expect in the final game.

Ygopro AI mode - beta release

This is a beta release of ygopro single duel mode against an AI opponent.

Be aware that the AI can be VERY stupid! I included a few recommended decks for him to use called "AI-deck1" and "AI-deck2".

Instructions

• Extract all files into your ygopro folder and open "ygopro_vs_ai.exe"
• Select "AI mode" in the main menu
• Choose preferred game settings, click OK
• Choose your deck and AI deck, click Start
• Have fun!

Poll: release as quick as possible or wait?

A quick status update for the people waiting for Cosmo Blazer and Abyss Rising cards in YGOPro. Don't worry there will be a release tomorrow.

The reason it took so long is partly because of the card pictures. There are only (official) Japanese versions available. I had to make English versions of those cards.

So I decided to hold another poll. When a new set is available, should I:

• wait until English card pictures are available
• or release immediately with Japanese card pictures
• or it doesn't matter to you?

YGOPro on hold..

Noooooooo!!!1!1!1!

Hey guys! I will be going on a long trip for over a month. I can only take my smartphone and crappy netbook with me. Needless to say, updating YGOPro will be at an hold.

What about version 1.02E?

Looking at the github page, not much has changed since the recently released 1.02D AE. I will try my best to release an update if it is really necessary.

What about the server?

Omega Hawk has been configured to reboot at regular intervals. This way I can make sure it will continue to be up while I am away.

• Music is turned off by default. You can turn it on in the settings tab. (No one uses the settings tab? A part of me died of sadness)
• Galaxy Knight should work correctly now
• Galaxy Wizard can now search Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon
• The High Priestess' Staff can now only be activated from hand when you control no monsters. Also the translation is incorrect. It negates 1 attack and does not end the battle phase
• Infinite Machine Ain Soph no longer activates when sent to graveyard face-down
• Infinite Light Ain Soph Ohr no longer activates when sent to graveyard face-down. This one was literally broken ;) It was fun while it lasted.
